Our team has grown to six in recent months with Hamish starting as our new Technical Draughtsman. He’s come all the way from Kiwiland, been here 4 weeks & is already adding value, implementing efficiencies & creating some impressive designs!
The FLF team are highly skilled talented individuals & are the ones behind all FLF products & custom modifications, we would be nowhere without them!

Bigger Space
Last week we took out a lease on another shed in our complex. We’ve needed more space for the past year & when the opportunity of a neighboring shed presented itself, we had to jump on it. We are now in the process of hiring another fabricator & fitting the new shed with machinery.
When coming in to see us, still come along to Shed 9, which will act as our main business hub, using Shed 6 for the loud & messy work.
2023 Sunshine Coast Business Awards – Manufacturing Finalist!
First Light Fabrication has recently been announced as a finalist for the Manufacturing category at the 2023 Sunshine Coast Business Awards! We were nominated by the Sunshine Coast Manufacturing Excellence Forum and were required to submit a comprehensive written application. Based on this we were shortlisted as a finalist & next week we will go before a panel of judges Shark Tank style before the big Awards Gala in November. Lets see if we can make it back to back wins, the pressure is on!
