FLF now offer onsite electric motor installations, delivering our top-tier craftsmanship and precision directly to your boat. Leveraging cutting-edge technology and the expertise of our skilled team, we’ve perfected bow mount motor installations — especially for larger vessels utilising the new Minn Kota Quest Instinct’s, as these boats can be challenging to bring to our workshop for mounting.

This service allows us to tackle even the most complex installs, ensuring that your boat is equipped with the latest technology, without the hassle of transporting it.

How the Onsite Electric Motor Install Process Works:

1. Initial Quote: We begin by providing you with an quote based on photos and details of what you’re after. All we need is a description of your project, including motor length, thrust, and battery setup. This helps us assess the job before we step foot onsite.

2. 3D Scanning & Design: Once you’re happy with the quote, we’ll arrange a day to come out and 3D scan the front of your boat. This scan allows us to design the perfect mount in-house, giving you a clear idea of the mount’s appearance and its final position. At this stage, we’ll also order your motor and battery to streamline the process.

3. Manufacturing the Mount: After you approve the design, we get to work manufacturing the mount in our workshop. It’s then painted and prepped, ready for installation.

4. Installation: Once all the gear arrives at our workshop and the mount is completed, we’ll coordinate with you to set up a few days for the onsite installation. This is when we bring everything together, from the motor to the custom mount.
